Tutoring sessions are $100 for a 50 minute session.

Most of my tutoring sessions are online. Since this isn’t therapy, it’s tutoring, I offer tutoring sessions across the United States, not just in the KC metro. I am in Central Daylight Time (CDT).
-
I have hundreds of free practice questions and exam content on my YouTube channel, Becoming a Therapist.
-
Yes! Theories can get tricky. Watch my free YouTube videos and then let me know when you reach out which are still tripping you up on the actual exam.
-
Yes! Tutoring is not a substitute for therapy. I am absolutely here to help you master the NCE, and that includes hacking the psychology you’ve learned on this journey to help yourself regulate on the big day. I do not approve test accommodations, and I cannot provide a psychological evaluation for testing accommodations, as this is outside my role as a tutor.

As you’ll see on my YouTube channel, I believe studying should be fun! Okay, okay, maybe that’s too far… but at least not mind-numbingly boring. And most importantly, studying for the NCE should make you feel competent, capable, prepared, and proud of yourself. If you’ve failed the NCE before, your study journey might feel rocky, embarrassing, or unpredictable. Maybe the ways that study tools have tried to engage you as you try to make your brain JUST FREAKING LEARN IT ALREADY have not worked.
I get it.
You are so close to the finish line.
Let’s put together a personalized plan for your study time that actually works for your brain.

Most students join on their laptop, let me know if you need to make other arrangements. A videochat / virtual meeting on your phone can work, but it’s not typically going to be the best for diving deep into content.

The CPCE is very similar to the NCE. I’m not a professor, I’m a therapist who creates study resources and tutors. I’d love to help if there’s content that you’re still struggling with. I do not specialize in CPCE tutoring. I made a 135 on my first try taking the NCE and I want to make counselor exam prep resources more accessible.
